Cool Department

Looking for local, free range, or organic meat?  We have that!  What about farm fresh eggs?  We have that, too! Our eggs not only come from farm co-ops and Owatonna, but they also come from family farms in Kettle River, Cloquet, Mahtowa, and right here in Duluth.  The refrigerated cases at the Whole Foods Co-op are packed with the finest selection of cool and frozen foods around.

In addition to meeting your frozen foods needs all year round, we strive to bring you local and organic offerings, free from preservatives, hormones, and antibiotics.  From Dahl’s Sunrise Dairy milk, to Dave Rogotzke’s frozen salmon, our Cool Team supports our diverse and growing regional food system.
